Junior Art Exhibition 2026

Submission Details

This Junior Art Exhibition aims to encourage young artists in the County by framing and exhibiting their work in the Solas Art Gallery located at the Island Theatre, Ballinamore. We particularly encourage the junior artist to be creative, imaginative and above all individual. Submission details are below. • Art (any medium - pencil, crayon, paint etc- you decide!) must be on A4 paper (landscape or portrait format). Sorry, we cannot accept pictures on any other size due to framing constraints.

• Each piece should have the following information written clearly on the back: Name, Address, Age in Years, School, Contact Number for Student, Parent or School.

• Each entry (1 per child) costs €5.00 Please do not fix the fee to the back of the picture.

• Drop-off at the Gallery in Ballinamore (N41 K0D6) between 12-5pm Tuesday 20th January to Friday 23rd January 2026 and on Saturday 24th January between 10 am to 3 pm. Closing date for entries: Saturday the 24th January at 3 pm. Late entries cannot be accepted.

• Exhibition opens Saturday 7th February 2026 at 2.00 pm. Artists and families very welcome to attend.

• After the exhibition, the framed artwork will be available (framed) for collection from Thursday the 5th March. Artwork can be collected for 4 weeks, any artwork remaining uncollected after the 5th April 2026 will be disposed of.

Exhibition opens 7th February and will run until 4th March 2026
