Niamh O'Connor

Niamh O'Connor is a visual artist living and working in County Monaghan. She has exhibited across both the north and south of Ireland and beyond.

 

Of note are her works for her solos" A Ballast full of hope" (2015) Market House, Monaghan, and "hidden...OUT LOUD" (2017) Solas Art Gallery, Ballinamore, group shows "Lie the land", Market Place Theatre and Arts Centre Armagh, "Don't step on the cracks", Solas Art Gallery Leitrim and "100" exhibition Luan Gallery, Athlone 2016 where her multidisciplinary works showcased her true ability.

 Additionally her work has been included in many National and international art led events:

*The Big Egg Hunt, *Pigs on Parade, *Sackville Street 1916, *Incognito and the *Artist Shuffle in Salem Oregon and LA. 

 Niamh's work has also featured as part of an environmentally inspired event by landfillart.org entitled "Second time around" at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester Virginia USA, and for a number of years as part of the annual arts fair at the International Encaustic Conference in Provincetown, Cape Cod, Massachusetts where she received the 2015 non-USA / International Scholarship award.
