Cathy Reynolds

Cathy Reynolds is a visual artist working in a number of mediums - painting, collage and photography. She has been living and working in the Leitrim /Roscommon area for over 25 years.  Also working on various projects with the community as an artist, and tutoring to many groups. 

'My practice is concerned with the interplay between interior and exterior. I make small and medium format paintings that aim to blur and redefine the boundaries between natural and man-made motifs. To date I have done this by incorporating materials used in interior decoration, e.g. wallpaper and printed fabrics, alongside natural imagery such as woodland and flora to create a collage style of painting.'
